Tournaments sit in Play too, next to the ladder. They do not belong to a season either: past championships stay there to be read, and the screen is there whether or not anything is running.
It reads in three parts. Coming up is a tournament taking entries, with no draw made yet. On now is one where a draw has been made, and it is where your club nights are too. What the club has run before is everything finished. Once every match is played, press Mark it finished at the top of the tournament and it moves there.
Each event takes one of four shapes. Three are a draw, and the fourth is dealt on the night.
One draw. Lose and you are out. See the draw.
Lose your first match and you go into a second draw underneath, so everybody gets at least two matches. See the plate.
A group first, scored like a box, then the top of each group goes through. See group stages.
No draw. Everybody enters on their own, the rounds are dealt on the night, and the table is the result. It has its own button on the tab. See club nights.
What happens if you drop back to One Box
Every draw, every score and every result stays exactly where it is and stays readable. Making a new tournament, and putting new scores in, is what stops.
