A lesson, from asking to squaring up

Getting on the list
The club puts you on, and from then members can ask you for an hour. There is nothing to sign up to. You do not have to be a member of the club. A visiting coach teaches here and takes courts to coach on, enters no competitions, and costs the club nothing on its bill.
Your prices
You set them, not the club. Name each in your own words, with how long it lasts and what it costs.

There is a line under your name too, like “LTA level 3, evenings and Saturday mornings”. It is the first thing a member reads.
Answering a request
A request comes up under Waiting for your answer, with anything they said. Press one of their times and it is agreed. If none work, say so, and they can ask again.
Some requests go to every coach here. The first to answer takes it. Not me leaves it open for somebody else, and is not a refusal on behalf of the club.
A request nobody answers is called off 5 days after the last day it suggested, and the member is told. Until then it stays on your list, so you can still answer it. Once its times have passed, it says the day it goes.
Putting a group on
Pick one of your group prices, a day, a time and how many places. Members take places themselves, and your list shows each group’s headcount, even at nought.
A weekly group is real weeks, not a rule. Each evening moves or cancels on its own, because “we are not on next Tuesday” is the ordinary week.
What happened
There is no register to take. If a lesson did not happen, press it within the week. On a group, one press marks the whole evening off, and marking one person is one absentee.
The money
We never move any of it. Your club has picked one of these, and said what its share of a lesson is.
The member pays you. You owe the club its share.
The lesson goes on the member’s club tab. The club owes you the rest, once its share is off.
Your money on your Coaching screen shows which applies, the share, and what is outstanding between you and the club. The club reads the same figure, so you settle on one number. The club’s side of this is where that lives.
The share is written down when a lesson is agreed. If the club changes it in March, nothing you taught in September is re-cut.
How you take payment
You say this, not the club. Tick cash, a bank transfer or a card on your own reader under Your money, with an optional line such as “ask me for my bank details”. Members see it on your card, before they book, and on the reminder the morning before. Your answer beats the club’s; untick them all and the club’s applies. We never ask you for a bank account.
Courts
Where the club keeps a court diary, your coaching is blocked out on it. That is the club’s job, not yours.
