The bell at the top of the page is your own feed: a score waiting on you, a result confirmed, who you play next. The red number is how many are waiting. Tap one to open what it is about. The × clears one, and Clear all empties the lot.
Push notifications are opt-in, and they belong to the device you turn them on in. You set them up on your own page, under On this device.
When nothing arrives
Turn them on here, under On this device, then press Send a test. Each phone, and each browser on a computer, is switched on separately.
Add Clayside to your home screen first, because Safari will not ask otherwise. Open it from the icon and turn them on in there. See Putting it on your phone.
A permission you refuse is refused for ever, and the app cannot ask again. The screen says where in your settings to turn it back on.
Open the league in Safari or Chrome and turn them on there.
Your phone can switch them off for the app itself. The screen says where.
Look under What buzzes. A kind you turn off is not sent at all.
Look in spam. Then check your address on your own page, and What we email you under it.
What arrives on a clock
A deadline nudge, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before a season ends, to anybody with a match still unplayed. The morning before an agreed match, to both sides, at 8am. The morning after one with no score yet, to both sides, and the morning after times you suggested all went by with no answer, to you. Whoever helps run the club also gets a morning email when a job has come in for them (see Home).
What also comes by email
Only notices that name a time you have to be somewhere, or a deadline running against you. They go to an address you have confirmed, and a junior’s go to their parent or guardian.

On a paid plan the sender reads as your club’s name, then via Clayside. During the trial it reads Clayside. Receipts, renewals and anything about your own subscription always come.
