A mexicano is an americano where each round is dealt off the table as it stands. Your partner is whoever the table puts beside you, which is usually somebody new, and you score what your side won.
A good round moves you up the room and a bad one moves you down, so by round five the games are close.
One round at a time
Until every score is in, Deal round 2 is greyed:
A mexicano deals the next round off the table, so this round’s scores go in first.
Sitting a round out
Whoever has played most sits, so the bench goes round the room. With nine of you, the last name on the list sits first:
Arrive late and you go straight on a court, because you have played the fewest.
A correction later on
Fixing a wrong score changes the table, never a round already played. Each was dealt off the table as it stood at the time.
