Anything you have said you will turn up to can go in the calendar you already keep. That is a court you booked, a lesson that is agreed, or a match with a time on it. It is also a team fixture you are picked for, and a club night you are entered in.
From the app
Each of those has an Add to calendar link. It is in the court’s own window, on the lesson, on the fixture, in the arrange window once a time is agreed, and on the night’s card. It only shows once the thing is really on, and only to the people on it.
It also comes up at the moment you say yes. Book a court, accept a time, say yes to a fixture or agree a lesson. The message at the foot of the screen then carries Add to calendar for a few seconds.
Google, Apple or anything else
Tap it and it asks which calendar you use.
- Google Calendar opens a new event with everything already filled in.
- Apple Calendar on an iPhone, iPad or Mac opens the entry for your calendar to add.
- Outlook or another calendar does the same everywhere else.
Your phone remembers which one you picked and puts it first next time.
By email
Four emails carry the entry as an attachment: a court you booked, a lesson that is agreed, being picked for a team, and a match with a time agreed. Open the attachment to add it. If you use Google Calendar, press Add it there in the email instead.
A club night has no email, so add it from the app.
How long the entry is
Where courts are booked or held, the entry runs exactly as long as they do. A lesson is as long as the lesson.
Where no court is booked, a match goes in for two hours, a team fixture for three, and a club night for two. If there is a day but no time, it goes in as an all-day entry. It never makes up a time.
