Stats sits in the Club tab beside Money. Nothing on it can be changed and nothing on it is a job. It is what happened, across years, counted from your own register and your own subscriptions. Nobody is named anywhere on it.
- The row of years. It moves every figure below it. Pressing one costs nothing and asks nothing: your whole history came down in one go when you opened the screen.
- Hatched columns. Years before your first subscription year on here, worked out from the joining dates on your register. A good shape rather than an exact count.
- The answer in words. Under each chart, ready to read out at a meeting.
- Download. One spreadsheet of the whole screen, a tab for each block, for the committee papers. No names, no phone numbers, no addresses: everything on this screen is a count.
What it answers
- The club over the years. The chart above, and who joined and who left.
- Who stays. How many came back the next year. The ones who did not are three numbers: they told you, they never took up the subscription they were sent, or they never answered. The last is usually the biggest, and the only one a phone call fixes. The same question is split by the year people joined, so you can see when an intake settles.
- Who plays. How many members played in a box, on a ladder, in a tournament or at a social night. Then the one worth reading twice: how many came back, split by whether they played at all.
- Who the members are. Ages and gender (male, female, other, or blank where nobody has said), each with how many members it was counted over.
- The money. Charged, collected and still out, and how long each way of paying took to arrive.
- Who found us. New members who came through the joining link on your website, against those somebody typed in.
- The courts. What your courts have been used for, if you book them here.
Your first year
In your first membership year the screen counts in months, because a bar chart with one bar is a number drawn slowly. It turns into the year by year report when your second year opens.
If your old membership list has the date each member joined, bring it in under Members. The years behind you appear too, as far back as twelve.
Where the numbers stop
A block with nothing to say yet moves to a card at the foot of the screen, saying which month it arrives.

A percentage of four people would move twenty-five points when one of them renews. Your members can fill the gaps themselves. Anybody whose record is missing something is asked on their own Home screen, and can say they would rather not.
Whoever runs the club sees it, and so do the secretary, treasurer and committee.
