Taking courts out
Taking courts out takes as many as you like at once. Tick Court 1, 2 and 3 for Thursday club night and the rest of the club stays bookable; tick none and every court comes out. Say what to call it and it reads that way on the sheet.
Taking one week out, or stopping club night
Press the club night on the sheet. On a phone it is the line under the hour it starts. A weekly one asks you two things. Take out this week only takes every court of it off that evening, and it is back the week after. Stop it from this week ends it: that week and every one after come off, and the weeks before stay on the sheet as they were. To start it again, set it up again.
A one-off gives its courts back in one press, every court of it. Courts held by a social night or a tournament are given back from that night or tournament, never from the sheet.
A club night or a tournament holds its own
A social night can hold its courts. On the night's own screen there is a button that puts it on the sheet. It takes as many courts as the entry list needs, four players to a court, for the evening. Anything already booked on them is listed first, by name, and nothing is cancelled. Give the courts back is beside it when the night is off.
A one-day tournament holds its courts too, from the tournament's own screen rather than an event's. Say how many courts and when, and they are held for the day. That lets you name the Saturday, hold the morning and add the events during the week.
Nobody is ever evicted
Changing the hours never cancels anybody. A change starts tomorrow rather than this afternoon, and if it would leave a booking outside the new hours the club is shown exactly whose before it saves. Blocking a court out for a club night works the same way: if somebody is already on that court, you get their name and a conversation, not an eviction.
