The club line
Four club plans and a custom one. Every one of them carries everything in the County column above, competitions included.
On top of that they add the membership register, subscription collection, the court diary and the three club roles. What separates one from the next is how many current members your club has, and nothing else.

Above a thousand members there is no button. Email hello@clayside.app and we will agree something.
Moving off the club line onto a competition plan is the one change we ask you to email about rather than press. It puts your member records out of reach. Nothing is deleted either way.
What every plan gets
Every sport, singles and doubles, and every format. On every plan, the free one included.
Three rows in the table above are the exception. They separate the free plan from a paid one, not one paid plan from another:
- a rated ladder that runs all year
- tournaments, with a draw and a plate
- a sponsor's name on your page
Take any paid plan and you have all three.
Fifteen people can run your club, on every plan, free included. Owners, box admins, the competitions manager, the tournament manager, the secretary, the treasurer and the committee, split however you like.
There is no separate limit on any one of them, and none of them counts towards the members a club plan holds.
Name a second owner before you need to. An owner can do anything you can. The commonest way a club loses access to its league is the person who set it up moving on, and it costs nothing to prevent.
Why One Box has no box admins
It is not a missing feature. One Box runs a single box that you are already in, so there is nobody to appoint.
A box admin runs one box's players and scores without being able to touch the rest of the league. That only means something once there is a rest of the league.
One Box is free and stays free. It is not a countdown to anything, and a club running a single box can use it for years without paying us a penny.
A trial is different: it runs on everything the product does, for its 14 days.
What a locked box is
A box your plan does not cover stops taking new scores. It is greyed but complete: every player, every score and every table is still there, still on the screen, and still in your backup.
Nothing is ever deleted for not paying.
You see this if a season was built during the trial with four boxes and the league has since become One Box. Box 1 carries on. Boxes 2 to 4 are frozen exactly as they were, and picking a paid plan unfreezes them the moment the Direct Debit is set up.
A ladder built during the trial works the same way. It stays on screen, complete and readable, and stops taking new matches until the club is on a plan that runs one. So does a tournament: every draw, every score and every result stays where it is, and the scores stop going in.
On One Box, a season with more boxes than your plan allows is not refused when you create it. It is created at the number you are allowed and the rest stay locked. Every paid plan runs as many boxes as you like, so this only comes up on the free one.
When you run out of room
Every plan welcomes up to a number of members. The table above says which.
Go past it and adding somebody is refused, with a sentence saying what the ceiling is. Nothing already there is touched, and nobody is removed to make space.
It usually turns up in the middle of an import, which is the worst moment to meet it. The import tells you rather than bringing in some of the rows and stopping.
Two ways out. Move up a plan, which takes a minute. Or check who is actually still a member: people who have left do not count, and nor do the people who run your club. Your members says exactly what the ceiling counts.
Changing plan
Owner only, and from inside the league. Use the button on the bar at the top, or the one on a locked box. Both open the same screen, and it offers the next plan up from the one you are on.
More members than the biggest plan holds? That is a conversation with a person rather than a button. Email hello@clayside.app.
