Free pickleball round robin generator

Type the names of whoever has turned up and say how many courts you have. You get the whole session: a new partner every game, who is on which court, who sits out, and a points table that adds up as the scores go in. Print it for the fence, or copy it into the group chat. Singles and fixed pairs work too.

Made with the free pickleball round robin generator from Clayside, at clayside.app/resources. Clayside runs your club's box leagues, ladders, tournaments and social nights, with the players entering their own scores and every table live for the club. See it at clayside.app

How the schedule is made

A pickleball round robin where everybody partners everybody

  • A new partner every game. Everybody partners everybody before anybody partners the same player twice. Eight players on two courts play seven games each, and nobody sits.
  • The sitting out goes round the session. Thirteen players on three courts means one sits each game, and nobody sits twice before everybody has sat once.
  • Every point counts. Each point your side wins goes on your own total, so a game lost 9-11 is worth nine. Switch Who wins to Most games won to rank on wins instead.
  • Rounds left empty means the whole round robin. Type a number when the courts are booked for less, and the sitting out is still shared evenly.

For a session dealt off the table as it goes, with the leaders playing each other, use the americano and mexicano generator. Sharing courts with a tennis section? Read pickleball at a tennis club.

Questions

What organisers ask about the pickleball round robin generator

How many games is a pickleball round robin?

With a new partner every game and every court full, one game fewer than there are players: seven games for eight players on two courts, eleven for twelve on three. With players sitting out it takes more, and the generator counts them and says how long the session runs.

Do we play to 11 or 15?

Either. Games to 11 suit a session with plenty of rounds, and games to 15 or 21 suit fewer, longer ones. Set Minutes a round to match and the time the session takes moves with it. Rally scoring works the same: type the points each side won.

What if somebody arrives late or leaves early?

The schedule is made for the names you typed, so for a late arrival make a new one for the games that are left. Clayside deals each game for whoever is there at the time, so a drop-in joins from the next one.

Can I print it?

Yes. Print the schedule puts the games and a line for every score on the page and nothing else, ready for the fence or a clipboard. Copy for the group chat gives the same schedule as text.

Is anything saved or sent anywhere?

Nothing is sent. The names and scores stay in this browser, so the session survives a refresh, and Start again clears them.
