A group stage is yours to set. Four things are the event’s own:
- how many in a group (3 to 8)
- how many go through from each (1 to 4)
- which points table it is scored on
- how the table breaks a tie
They are not the season’s. A group of five playing everybody once is a different thing from your Tuesday boxes, and it can be scored like one without touching them.
