Lessons, asked for and agreed in the app

Members ask a coach for a lesson the way they arrange a match. The coach picks a time, and the club and the coach settle up on one figure each way.

What changes

Who coaches here. The Coaching screen lists everybody who coaches at your club, with a line about them and what they charge. Coaches set their own prices: one lesson, a block or a group.

Asking for an hour. A member suggests up to six times they could play, with an optional line on what they want to work on. It works like arranging a match.

Three coach cards with rate cards and an Ask for a lesson button on each, an Ask any coach button, and a list of groups with places left.
The club's coaches and their rates, for one to one, a block and a group. A member asks one coach or all of them, and each group shows its places left.

One coach, or all of them. Ask any coach goes to everybody who teaches at your club, and the first to answer takes it. Nobody’s phone number changes hands.

The coach answers in one press. A request comes up under Waiting for your answer. The coach presses one of the times and it is agreed. If none of them work, they say so and the member can ask again.

Groups that fill themselves. A coach puts a group on with a day, a time and a number of places. Members press Join to take a place and Leave to give it back.

No money through the app. You decide once whether the coach takes the money or it goes on the member’s club tab, and what your club’s share is. Members see how to pay before they book, when the lesson is agreed and on the morning.

One figure to settle on. Work it out shows every lesson taught and not yet squared up, both ways round. When you have settled with a coach, press Squared up. It records that you did, and no money moves.

Where to find it

On a club plan, open Coaching, then Coaches and money, and pick somebody off your register. Tick Visiting for a coach who is not a member.
