Social tennis

Social tennis nights where nobody has to organise the courts

Clayside is social tennis software for clubs: an americano or a mexicano on your courts, partners dealt each round, points kept as you play, and a table by nine o’clock.

How it works

Social tennis, dealt and scored

Who is playing

Members put their names down from the invitation, or you type them on the night. Pick the courts and how many rounds.

A round to 24 points

Each doubles court plays until the two pairs have 24 points between them. Make it shorter, or play to the clock.

Partners change, points stay yours

The app deals new partners each round. What your side wins is added to your own total, and the table moves with every court.

Players and courts

Social tennis players per court

Four to a doubles court. Anyone not on court sits out a round, and nobody sits a second time before everybody has sat once. Between 4 and 64 players.

Someone arrives after the first round? Add their name and they go into the deal from the next one.

Questions

What tennis clubs ask about social nights

Can we hold the courts for the night?

On a club plan with court booking, yes: the night offers to hold the courts it needs on your court sheet, so nobody books over it.

What if it rains off halfway?

Press End the night. The rounds nobody played are dropped and the table stands as it was.

Can we finish with a final?

Yes. After two rounds, deal a final off the table: top four on court one, first and third against second and fourth.

Is there a free tennis round robin generator?

Yes. Type the names and the courts, and it prints a tennis round robin in singles, fixed pairs or with a new partner each round, with a table that adds up. No sign-up. The tennis round robin generator.

Which plans include social nights?

Every paid plan, with as many nights as you like. The free plan runs one box league. The plans.
