What changes
One evening, one table, and no draw. Everybody enters on their own, and the night keeps a running total for each of them. There is nothing to seed and no play-by dates.

Three ways to deal it. An americano gives you a new partner every round, and you play with everybody before you play with anybody twice. A mexicano deals each round after the first off the table, top four on court one, so the games get closer as the night goes on. Fixed pairs stay together all night, and a singles night works too.
You score what your side won. A round that ends 15-9 adds 15 to both players on one side and 9 to both on the other. A round can end level, and 12-12 is a real round with both sides keeping their twelve.
Scores from the court or the desk. The players on each court can put their own scores in, or you keep it to the desk. Fixing a wrong score moves the table and never deals again a round already played.
The bench goes round the room. When the numbers do not divide, somebody sits, and the sitting is spread evenly. Somebody going home early or arriving late? Take them off or put them on, and deal the next round.
A night with its own date, time and link. The start time goes on the invitation, and anybody entered can add the night to their calendar. Invite the club tells your members, and gives you a link that names nobody, ready for the group chat.
End on a final, or just stop. Deal the final puts the top of the table on court one, and whoever wins it wins the night. End the night closes it whenever you like.
