Make up a four
Players near each other on the ladder book a court together, the way they book one now.
Padel ladder
Clayside is a padel ladder app for clubs: rotating doubles, so every player holds a rating of their own, and any four close on the ladder can play a match that counts.
No card, no password · 14 days with everything switched on
Movement is places over 30 days · form is the last five · the trend line is their rating over time · purple is a score waiting on the other player, and it counts already.
How it works
Players near each other on the ladder book a court together, the way they book one now.
Two sets and a championship tiebreak, or best of three. Either player on the other side can say the score was wrong.
Each side plays as the average of its two players. Win with a weaker partner and you climb further; both partners move by the same amount.
The rules
The range and when resting starts are your club’s to set on each ladder.
1200
Everyone joins on this number. Their first match puts them on the table.
3
The first three can be with and against anyone, and they move further.
±5
After that, a match counts when the two sides’ average places are this close.
90
A player who stops playing eases down a little each month after this, until their next match.
Nobody takes anyone’s place by beating them, and turning down a game costs nothing.
Pairs as well
A paid plan runs up to 8 ladders, so a club can have both.
Rotating
The rotating ladder can take everybody in your boxes automatically, so nobody has to sign up or find a partner.
Fixed pairs
For the partnerships that play every week: the pair holds one rating, and either half records the match.
